    Joseph A Bosco was born in Oak Park, Illinois, November 26, 1957; admitted to bar, Illinois, 1982; admitted to bar, Michigan 2002; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, 1983; U.S. District Court, Central District of Illinois, 2002; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, 1999; Education: University of Notre Dame (B.A. 1979); Loyola University (J.D. 1982); McGill University, Institute of Air and Space Law (L.L.M. 1986). His published works include a myriad of articles on various subjects including space law, aviation law, wrongful death litigation, and construction litigation published in such journals as the Air and Space Lawyer, Trial Lawyers Guide, Journal of Air Law and Commerce, Pepperdine Law Review and the Northrop University Law Journal of Aerospace Business and Taxation.

    Mr. Bosco also has been an Instructor of Air and Space Law at Loyola University of Chicago, School of Law, and a member of the International Court of Aviation and Space Arbitration.

    He is also a member of the Helicopter Association International, the Lawyers' Pilots Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association; and the International Society of Barristers. Mr. Bosco is a Martindale-Hubbell AV rated attorney who specializes his national practice in complex civil litigation matters, including aviation, products liability, construction, commercial, catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation. He is also a member of the General Assembly of the Illinois State Bar Association and a member of the Aviation Law Section of the Chicago Bar Association.

In law school, he received an Honors-at-Entrance Scholarship, and was named to the Dean's List multiple times.

    In addition, he was awarded the CALI award for receiving the highest grade in his Federal Income Taxation class. In the summer of 2001, he studied in Europe as part of Loyola's Oxford University/European Union Program.

While at Loyola, Mr. Sperry authored a note for the LOYOLA CONSUMER LAW REVIEW titled Smut in Space: The FCC and Free Speech on Satellite Radio. He also competed in the 2004 Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Competition and served an extern for the Honorable Judge Wayne R. Andersen. Mr. Sperry worked as a law clerk and summer associate at LaRose & Bosco, Ltd. from May 2004 through December 2005. Prior to joining LaRose & Bosco, Ltd. in June of 2008, Mr. Sperry worked as Deputy Legal Counsel for the State Representative Tom Cross, Minority Leader of the Illinois House of Representatives.

    Anthony J. Bosco, of Counsel, (Deceased) February 24, 1928 -- July 25, 2008 ; admitted to bar, Illinois, 1956; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, 1957. Appointed Cook County Associate Judge 1972, Elected Circuit Court Judge 1978, Retired from bench 1995. Education: Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois (B.A.); DePaul University College of Law (J.D. 1956). Instructor and Lecturer at various law schools and judicial seminars. Published in numerous law journals. Since retiring from the bench Mr. Bosco has participated in excess of 150 Arbitrations and Mediations including, but not limited to, personal injuries, legal and medical malpractice, insurance law, consumer class action litigation, construction contracts, mechanic liens, intellectual property disputes, aviation property claims, natural disaster claims, products liability, zoning and building issues, and land acquisitions. Also, since retiring from the bench, he was lead trial attorney in two very complex cases involving breach of contract and mechanic liens, both tried to verdict with success.
